Exploring the human narrative of all forms. We all have stories, it what makes us.

I have the classic "found a camera at a garage sale." I photographed live music and local garage bands when I was younger, moved on and thought I wanted to be a photojournalist. I spent some time in Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique), documenting NGO efforts and realized that the "run and gun" style didn't feel right to me, there must be something more.

What I discovered is that I was interested in stories of the human experience. Whether composed, spontaneous or directed, there are moments of great, human authenticity that deserve to be captured. It is these moments of conversation, pregnant pauses, and purpose that we are perpetually startled and remind each other we are human. We share ourselves and experience others in these surprises. I capture those moments and tell a visual story.
